Porcelain Dental Veneers
Hand-Crafted Transformation with the Final Result in Mind
What Are Porcelain Dental Veneers?
Thin, custom-crafted porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth.
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin ceramic shells — typically 0.3–1.5 mm thick — bonded to the front surfaces of teeth to correct discoloration, chips, gaps, worn edges, and minor crowding. They are stain-resistant, highly lifelike, and designed to last for many years with proper care.
At Metro Dental & Implant Studio, we begin by evaluating your gum health and bite, because veneers placed on inflamed gums or an unstable bite are unlikely to achieve long-term success. From there, we combine advanced digital technology with traditional hand-crafted artistry to design a smile transformation tailored specifically to you. Our in-house master ceramist remains closely involved throughout the process and is present during the final try-in and cementation appointment to verify the color, shape, and fit of every veneer for the most natural and precise result possible.

Are Veneers Right for You?
Discolored or stained teeth
Deep stains (tetracycline, age, old restorations) that whitening cannot resolve.
Chipped or worn edges
Minor structural loss from grinding, acid wear, or accidents.
Small gaps or spacing
Close visible gaps without orthodontics when alignment is otherwise acceptable.
Uneven tooth shape
Restore symmetry and proportion across your visible smile.
Healthy gums & bite
Good candidates have no active gum disease or significant bruxism.
Realistic expectations
Veneers enhance — they do not replace orthodontics, crowns, or whitening when those are the right fit.

Answers About Porcelain Veneers
With proper care, porcelain veneers often last 10–20 years. Gum health and bite balance are the biggest predictors of longevity — exactly why our gum-first evaluation matters before any enamel is reshaped.
Pricing depends on the number of veneers, material, and whether preparatory work is needed. We provide a written itemized estimate at your consultation before any treatment begins. CareCredit offers up to 24-month no-interest plans.
Preparation is performed under local anesthesia — most patients report mild sensitivity for 1–3 days after placement, easily managed with OTC pain relievers.
Not immediately. We treat active gum disease first, then proceed with veneers once gum health is stable — Dr. Fedorenko and Dr. Ford handle both phases in-house.
Porcelain is highly stain-resistant. Your surrounding natural teeth can still stain, so we often recommend a whitening pass before final veneer shade selection.
Minor alignment issues can be masked with veneers. Severe crowding is better addressed with Invisalign first — we will be honest at your consultation if veneers alone will not give you the result you want.
Cosmetic veneers are typically not covered. When a replacement has medical justification, we submit claims on your behalf for any covered portion. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Indemnity) and Delta Dental (Premier) directly for the medically necessary portions of treatment.
Veneers cover only the front of a tooth and are best for structurally healthy teeth needing cosmetic change. Crowns cover the entire tooth and are required when more tooth structure is compromised.
A Smile Designed to Last for Many Years, Not Just a Season
Porcelain veneers, done right, are typically a 15–20 year investment with proper care. Every case at Metro Dental starts with a gum-health evaluation and a digital smile design — because the best veneer is one you forget is even there.
Financing is available for any scope, and your estimate is written down before we start.
