Full Mouth Reconstruction
Coordinated Restoration for Complex Dental Cases
What Is Full Mouth Reconstruction?
A coordinated plan that restores every tooth — health, function, and appearance together.
Full mouth reconstruction is a personalized plan combining multiple procedures — implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, gum disease treatment, bone grafts — to rebuild a mouth that has been damaged by years of wear, decay, trauma, or neglected dental care.
At Metro Dental in Lexington, MA, Dr. Alex Fedorenko and Dr. Christian Ford plan every reconstruction around a single framework: long-term oral health first, aesthetics second. Because gum and bone health are evaluated at the start of every case, the foundation of your new smile is managed with the same priority as the restorations on top.

Who Needs Full Mouth Reconstruction?
Failing bridges and crowns
Old restorations breaking down faster than they can be patched one at a time.
Severe tooth wear
Bite collapse and excessive wear from grinding, acid, or aging restorations.
Multiple missing teeth
Combinations of gaps, partials, and compromised remaining teeth.
Active gum disease
Gum-first treatment is essential before any new restorative work.
TMJ + bite collapse
Reconstruction restores the vertical bite dimension, often relieving jaw pain.
Want one coordinated plan
Tired of piecemeal fixes that don't add up to a long-term result.

Answers About Full Mouth Reconstruction
Anywhere from 6 months to 18 months, depending on whether you need surgical phases (extractions, implants, grafts) before restorative work. You'll see the full timeline at your consultation.
Costs vary dramatically by case — from mid five figures to much larger depending on scope. You receive a phased written estimate at consultation.
Portions of the work (extractions, gum disease treatment, medically necessary crowns) may be covered. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Indemnity) and Delta Dental (Premier) directly. For other carriers we submit claims on your behalf; we do not participate with MassHealth.
Rarely — temporary restorations bridge the gap between phases so you always have functional, presentable teeth.
For patients missing most or all teeth in an arch, yes — we're a listed Massachusetts 3-on-6™ licensee. 3-on-6 is supported by a limited lifetime lab warranty (terms apply).
Signs include multiple failing restorations, significant tooth wear, bite collapse, chronic TMJ discomfort, or active gum disease alongside missing teeth. A consultation gives you a clear diagnostic picture.
